Travel Itinerary
Day 1 - Rice experience and Kuang Sii waterfall
This morning you will be picked up at 8:00 am at your hotel and driven to the Living Land farm where you will learn all about the process of planting and harvesting rice. You can even get your hands dirty if you want and participate in the various activities including plowing with Susan or other buffalos.
After your Rice Experience, you will take a pleasant drive through villages and countryside to enjoy a Lao banquet on a small farm with your personal chef Ms La. You will enjoy 5 traditional Lao dishes along with fresh fruits in season.
After lunch you will continue your pleasant rural drive to the Kuang Sii waterfall, one of the most popular destination in Laos. You can wonder the along the numerous pools of turquoise spring water until you reach the spectacular main falls. On your way can visit the Bear Rescue Centre, home to many Asiatic bears rescued from poachers and snares in the northern jungles. There will be opportunity for you to swim on one of the pools below the main falls or just relax and enjoy the cooler air and shady trees.
You will be dropped back at your hotel at approximately 5 pm.
