5 Days: Luang Prabang Charming

This morning we head to Ban Long Lao, an ethnic Hmong Village in the mountains 30 Kms

From Luang Prabang. After exploring the village, we trek overland to the headwaters of Kuang Si waterfall

Descending to the falls you can take a refreshing dip in the pristine turquoise pools below the falls and visit the Bear Rescue Center before jumping aboard our air-condition Minivan to head to Pha Daang Gardens for a Lao banquet or snack at Ms La garden and she will serve you 5 traditional Lao dishes along with fresh fruit in season.

You can take a stroll around the gardens or relax in a hammock before we head back to town.

You will be pick up at your hotel at 8am for Nong Khiaw. Along the way, we will stop one

Of the most popular cave in Luang Prabang. The guide will take you down to the riverbank where you will board a small boat to cross the river to the cave (Pak ou Cave), from there you climb steps up to the cave where you will discover the history of the cave and enjoy the beauty of the surrounding river and mountains. On the way back, we will stop at Ban Xang Hai “The Whisky Village”.

Next stop is Ban Nayang, an indigo weaving village. There you will learn how the many different colors of indigo dye are created and the process for dyeing the threads for the weavers. You will spend two hours in the village, involved with villagers in different stages of indigo product production. We will finish the visit with a meal at a local house before heading to Nong Khiaw.

After arrival in Nong Khiaw you will have a short break before climbing to top of the view point for Sunset and natural rock mountain expensive view.

Take time for rest after exercise your legs and free explore around Nong Khiaw before dinner time.

Get up this day to catch the natural weather breath, the sounds of early morning and a

Cup of coffee to jump start your day. Checking your bike to make sure that fit. Beginning, we all going to visit Pha Tock Cave. This site played a fascinating role in this area of the country during The Secret War. It served as a hideout for the military as well as a school, hospital and another government official. Before take-off about 2-3 hour’s off-road trip on mountain bicycle to the local village. That we will start to do Kayaking. Along the way, you will bike through farmlands and groves of orange trees.

After Picnic/packing lunch and short break, we will get down to the river bank. Guide will do little explain about to using kayak boat and tricks before flow down the rapids. During flow down the river. You will meet local fisherman and local vegetable farms on the river bank. Get back to Nongkhiaw might be same time of sunset and relax around town.

Refresh the morning of sunrise’s day, smell of freshen weather surrounding by rock-green Mountain. Enjoy with morning coffee and breakfast. Guide and Driver will meet you at 8:00 AM at the hotel, it’s time to say good bye to Nong KNhiaw. We will do little explore to the morning market before get back on board for the AC private transport to Luang Prabang.

Guide and driver will stop the Ou river lake on the way for you to refresh during few hours on the vehicle (You can have lunch there) because there are ferry restaurants. Great view of the green mountain.

We will arrive Luang Prabang in the afternoon and end trip at your accommodation or drop you off at Airport or Train station.
